Saturday, January 15, 2005 ::: let me recall what I've done this week... farewell to Ronald at the chinese restaurant (which chinese prefers calling it 'Palace') seems like an adult thingy to do - bold dishes with rice and tea instead of pasta and soda except we did all the craziest thing you could do in a restaurant we earned a lot of gazes and stares but that was sheer fun highlight would definitely be night out in TST afterwards with dai marc stan & ste giving myself another reason to go out hey, exam's over never tried too hard this time never failing to give myself a reason for being lazy - chances like these don't come easily. feeling alive we talked about all things while my head is so light i was floating the never-ending and the taste of Long Island Iced Tea (what an awesome discovery it's my absolute favorite cocktail right now) I know we were connected like no one else seeing and hearing a little bit more about people while discovering a little bit more about myself the following morning wasn't a bad hangover I actually went to school never been that punctual before listened real hard with curiosity overflowing the embryology lessons were simply amazing thursday korean bbq dinner why did i say the words so often I asked myself too scared it didn't reflect my true self while too intimidated to reveal my true self at times i blamed myself while speculating why i had to I guess I never felt the same way before with others. my sweet potato soup tasted ok but the jaja looks awful to me we were clearly desperate but that didn't matter once again I wondered what those words meant and how they'd be perceived while asking myself why I had to real goodbye to dai in the morning at kln tong then off to HKU, finally got the chance to visit ste & sam's rooms at st. john's gosh how I envy them i know what you see is not always what you get but the thought of being in a community like that was quite thrilling still dreaming of having a perfect university life nothing's changed. FCUK's final reductions so tempted to get a real nice lookin retro looking shirt with BIG and BOLD letters of FCUK written across the chest and the words TEAMFCUK on both sleeves wondering if I should get that for I love the shirt because it looks good should I mind what's written or should I start living in rules and confinements simply because of the status I'm meant to establish? I didn't get the shirt at last, but it's a little sad when I think of the reason why I can't get a shirt I love (which is a good bargain too!) what's more pathetic is that I know that's the least I should be upset with "Alexander" not a bad film actually although I don't really think Colin Farrell's portrayal is any convincing still, the 3 hour film wasn't boring at all but i wish the director could spare us the awfully disgusting homo parts and mother&son kiss-and-spit scene... yuck! goosebumps yet it's amazing how the kid who plays junior Alexander resembles the older Alexander. by the way, it's weird to hear your own name mentioned a thousand times like that. late night snack in Mong Kok a very fulfilling congee + noodles give me another night of indulgence in pleasure trying to figure the nature of that happening was it an answer or was it mockery? maybe it doesn't matter.
